Haki Farmers Collective

Brief

Haki Farmers Collective is a multi-farm network growing sustainable, regenerative food across Olympia, Yelm, and Centralia. We specialize in culturally relevant foods, particularly African diaspora crops, to nourish our growing East African community. They are bound together by a collective vision: to reclaim and revive traditional foodways and support Black, Indigenous, and Immigrant growers in building thriving, sovereign farm businesses. They steward land using organic and traditional growing methods, prioritize culturally relevant crops, and increase access to fresh, culturally relevant staple crops for BIPOC communities across the region.

Land Clinic supports this work through farmer collectivizing, relationship memorialization, legal strategy and support for farm operations.
